Publisher's summary

The sexy follow-up to Unidentified Redhead, this audiobook from USA Today best-selling author Alice Clayton is a magical mix of humor and heat - so cuddle up under the sheets; Grace and Jack are at it again!

As their careers catch fire, Grace and Jack - everyone’s favorite couple - find themselves on opposite coasts. Grace has landed in New York City, where she loves being onstage again, playing a fabulous character in a musical written by her old college flame, Michael. Their rekindled friendship makes exploring the city that much more fun. And it is just friendship, right?

Meanwhile, in L.A., Jack can scarcely keep up with the throngs of women who track him everywhere he goes, the endless press appearances, and the ridiculous rules his manager, Holly, keeps laying down for him - all part of the buildup to the release of Time, his steamy new film. Thank goodness for phone sex. But even when their schedules allow them to connect, Grace and Jack must keep their relationship off the radar and away from paparazzi cameras. Sure, the sex is sensational - but can they survive the swirling rumors, the demands of their chosen professions, and Grace’s internal battles?

The Redhead Revealed is funny, cute, and sexy!

Grace Sheridan and Jack Hamilton's escapades continue. It's not just distance that separates these two. Ms.Clayton once again does a great job with the book. It packs the same heat and humor, but more intensity since Grace and Jack have big obstacles to face. I even found myself teary eyed at times. I loved the complexity of this story. Grace coming to terms with herself, what she wants, and what she's willing to live with & without.I loved Jack's maturity, vulnerability, his love for Grace, and for accepting Grace for who she is (flaws and all). This is a series that completely draws you in and keeps you engaged. The side characters are fantastic, the situations that arise are believable, the sex….oh my lord….the sex is hot! I really enjoyed this sequel...it was sweet, funny and again...very sexy :-)

Perfect for a light listen

I'm loving this "Redhead" series. Sometimes you need a lighter listen that's fun and this series provides it. Grace is such a crazy, loveable woman and you can't help but want to know what's going to come from her next. My only complaint is that the author doesn't relate Jack's point of view but it's still a cute sexy story that I enjoyed.

I wasn't expecting this one to come out so soon, so a big thanks to Audible for getting it out. The narrator does a fantastic job also. This is not a stand alone book. Make sure you get book 1 first. I do think this one is worth a credit if you want this type of book.

Really Cute Romance

Super cute follow up to book one. I LOVE Jack, and love that he loves the 30-somethings! This installment follows the burgeoning romance of Grace and Jack with some real life and "new stardom" issues thrown in there. As was the first book, this was well written with plenty of sass and humor, however I'm still not a fan of this narrator at all, she speaks to quickly throughout the whole story and it's just not a good match. All that said,I'm pretty hooked on this couple and want to find out how things progress, so book three, here I come!

MENTION GOLDEN GIRLS AND YOU GET MY VOTE

What did you love best about The Redhead Revealed?

Grace. She is truly, absolutely a nut. I can't imagine anyone not liking this girl. She is just like a lot of women. We believe some things are just too good to be true. Especially when it comes to love.

What other book might you compare The Redhead Revealed to and why?

The first book, The Unidentified Redhead and Wallbanger. The same sharp wit and the comedy is great.

Which character – as performed by Keili Lefkovitz – was your favorite?

Grace without a doubt. I which The Brit was in a Brit voice.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes, I was all in on this book. I saw the train wreck before it happened and I'm sure most people will. I was so hurt for Grace and mad at the same time because of Jack. I felt Jack's pain when he was speaking to Grace about their relationship.

Any additional comments?

This is a great read. The comedy is good and the relationship with Grace and Holly is one most women have with a great girlfriend. I will listen to this one multiple times.

Another amazing book

Any additional comments?

This series is one of my favorites. The author does a great job with interesting characters and mixing in humor and wit. There were parts in this book I wanted to scream at the characters and parts where I was laughing out loud. The storyline was very realistic which makes it even better. I cannot say enough how great a book this is. It was well worth the credit!

Finally...More Boobies, Candy, and Golden Girls

Where does The Redhead Revealed rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This audiobook has to be tied for #1 along with The Unidentified Redhead.I think the real life chemistry between Keili Lefkovitz and Alice Clayton really makes this audiobook series extremely special. In my opinion, it is because Keili understands Alice and is able to bring that through in her performance.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Redhead Revealed?

Jack's movie premiere. When I READ the book, I could feel the range of emotions during the movie premiere but the performance during this scene in the audiobook really made the scene so much more emotional for me.

Which character – as performed by Keili Lefkovitz – was your favorite?

I really loved Keili as Grace; however, I think she NAILED on Holly. Really hope that the Redhead Series will not be the last we get to hear from Keili. She is truly the BEST narrator I have heard by far.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book had a wide range of emotions for me. But for the most part I had a grin on my face the entire time I was listening to it. In fact, my cheeks kinda hurt. I think it was the fact that the book just had a smart-ass tone to it without being over zealous about it.

Any additional comments?

December 2013 CANNOT get here soon enough.

3 Stars

For the first half of the book, It’s the typical second book in a romance trilogy with lots of filler material that doesn’t necessarily progress the story. The second half is where the story started getting a little more focused. I didn’t hate the first half, but it was just lots of back and forth from LA to NY and sex. The abundance of sex was repetitive, annoying, and didn't add anything. Filler.

I’m not sure what this middle book was trying to achieve in the series. Soon after the halfway mark, the conflict and resolution took place, leaving over a third of the book left for randomness. Don't get me wrong, I still love Jack and Grace, but this book could have easily been absorbed into the final book, making it a duet. There wasn't anything new here.

As for the audio, I was completely disappointed that the narrator didn't give Jack a British accent. It ruined the whole characterization.

This is my LAST Alice Clayton novel...

I read Alice Clayton's Cocktail Series and LOVED it. So, of course I tried The Unidentified Redhead. It was okay...just okay. Recently, I was looking for a romantic comedy after a few too many thrillers and murder mysteries, so naturally I chose the next book in The Redhead Series. I was NOT a fan. I guess if you're interested in shallow stories about older women having no less than 5 orgasms from strangely ultra-sexually experienced early 20-something men who pleasurably sodomize big breasted older women then this novel might just be what you're looking for. I found it ridiculous. Pair that with an obnoxious narrator and in my book this combination was a complete disaster. I had already bought The Readhead Plays Her Hand and returned it before I wasted anymore of my time. I have forever sworn off of all books by Clayton. Her writing is just to crass for my taste. Prospective listeners beware...
