Loved it!

Would you consider the audio edition of The Quilter's Apprentice to be better than the print version?

Haven't read the print edition but I worked on a quilt top while reading the audio version. Love this aspect of audio book reading.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Sylvia Compson. She was very believable and related very human emotion in her stories. She was a well written character with depth and personality.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene was when Sylvia and Agnes met again as sisters.

Any additional comments?

The book encouraged me as a novice quilter to try different techniques and continue with the Elm Creek series.

Captivating

Maybe because I am a new quilter myself, but found this book completely captivating!! With my long work commute, found myself so engaged I forgot how I even arrived where I was. Can’t wait to listen to the rest of the series!!

The Quilter’s Apprentice while Quilting.

I am a quilter and I loved this book. Actually I listened to this book while I was sewing a double wedding ring quilt for my daughter.

The character development was wonderful. I actually care about the different characters and can hardly wait to experience further tales.

Heartwarming

This heartwarming and sometimes heart wrenching story was delightful. It has made me look more closely at my own life.

A different kind of quilting story!

Loved the characters, the history, and the story development. Sarah is a bit juvenile, but she shapes up!

Just ok

No exceptional moments in this story,
I would keep playing back because I would keep falling asleep!
Won't be continuing this series.

Inspired me to Quilt

I read some horrible reviews on this book, but I have to say I am glad I went ahead and got the book. This book inspired me to learn how to quilt... it also made me want to join a quilting guild like Sarah did.

gentle

It's a gentle loving book. There is no heartstopping excitement, but if you want a soothing narrative, this is it.

Wonderful!

This series of books is easily my favorite set of stories. I can see every character, location, and quilt in my mind. I love getting lost in the events surrounding Elm Creek Quilts, the staff, and the guests!!!
