Would you consider the audio edition of The Professional: Part 1 to be better than the print version?

Really enjoyed this. I will be getting the other two as well but I do wish it was one book instead of 3. It’s odd how it was broken up into pieces

Perfect!! All I waned from a spicy mafia book

The pace is awesome and the characters are to die for. Love the writing love the plot loved everything about it. The perfect mafia love story. Totally recommended.

Another great author bites the publishing formula

Don't get me wrong - I love KC's writing and the worlds she creates. I work in an Indie bookstore and prop the Arcana Chronicles like the paranormal floozy I am. But, honestly, looking at the publishing schedule and the length of the books, we know the trilogy could be wrapped into one delicious read. But the math works like this: one $20+ audiobook discounted to under $10 in less than a year. Or 3 audios released over two months with the discounted price netting almost $15.
It's only her recent books that have pushed the $16 to $20 mark and we all try use credits on those. No way would we waste a credit on $4.61 audio. So all the middlemen are making more money at the expense of the consumer and the needy characters who want their story completed in one book.
Will I buy the rest of the series? Absofloozy! But I tend to shy away from overt marketing ploys with other books and have written KC about my concerns with this series. Maybe she'll tell the gurus she was nucking futs to agree to this capitalization and it won't happen again.

I'M IN LOVE

Unfortunately I started this listen as I got into bed late one evening, I say unfortunately because it hooked me right in and kept me as it's eager, willing and captivated prisoner until dawn - but oh it was sooo worth the bags, the bloodshot eyes and the bad mood the next day.

In my opinion, it just doesn't get better than this - it had intrigue, mystery, a hint of danger with more to come, sizzling chemistry, quick and witty dialogue, sex (not full way yet but still hot), one feisty and very very lucky Heroine and the Hero, a Russian Bodyguard, was a handsome, tattooed, muscled badass (and he ticked ALL my boxes girls).

I stand up and applause both Kresley Cole and Kimberley Alexis for giving us an exciting, compelling and an 'off the charts' enjoyable listen - thank you, thank you, thank you but I NEED BOOK 2 NOW!! So Ms Cole I'll gladly come and cook, clean, nanny, garden or do anything it takes to leave your schedule totally free to devote your precious time into giving us, your fans, MORE, MORE, MORE.

Worth a credit? Well I think I've said enough to answer that question - but if not then YES YES YES...... and a pint of blood.

Such A Tease

I LOVED this book!!
Great story, great characters! I can't fault the contents of the book at all, I liked Natalie and I liked the Siberian!
This would have been 5 stars if only it wasn't such a short book!! I can't stand listening to something in a matter of hours then itching for more only to find the entire series are all very short novellas !!! I'd rather buy all the books together as one book!
I didn't purchase the second book because of my annoyance but I know I will NEED to know what happens to Natalie!
So for those looking for a good long read - avoid this.
If you don't care how long a book is and like to be teased with what felt like a long intro to a good book then it ends - get it!

WE'VE GOT A WINNER WITH THIS ONE!!!

This was one of the hottest little tales I've heard in awhile. I enjoyed every erotic moment! I was pretty sure I was walking around with my mouth gaping open and ears melting with every word in this story. It was funny, hot as sin, and has thoroughly peaked my interest. Kresley Cole is so adept at writing interesting story lines that happen to be super erotic, which is exactly what I'm looking for in a delicious escape. This one gets an infinity star rating from me because it was just that good. Excellent narration, and this Sevastyan character--WOW, I have no words for this man, except YUM-ME! I cannot wait for the next book to get here!!

Bit of a cliff hanger

This was well written and well narrated. However, I prefer for a novel to have a clear ending. It's not as bad as some but it does leave one hanging.

Amazing narration! The narrator did a great job on all accents and voicing the different characters. If you like brooding alpha males with an accent this audio is for you.
