The first subjects exposed to The Presence went insane. Now, a far more terrifying experiment is about to begin. A diverse group of unusual characters are airlifted to a remote mountain lodge. Here they hope to participate in a seance connecting them to the spirit world. David Kauffman and his teenage son have joined them to debunk a world-class psychic and expose her as a hoax. But not even David is prepared for what greets them. Still shaken by his daughter's death and his visits to heaven and hell, he's swept into a fantastic journey where the supernatural souls of people are exposed, and unseen thoughts become unimaginable reality. As the power of The Presence increases, the group must overcome their innermost passions or be destroyed by them. All this as they struggle to break free of their captor, the head of the experiment and murderer of David's daughter.

    "Fantastic Read!"

Myers does it again, he entices you into the story, wraps you up in it, and never lets you go right to the last syllable. This story picks up right where the first left off. It is exciting, and captivating. He uses the characters to allow the reader to visualize what we know exists within each person.

"Book 2 was as good as Book 1"

The complete series of the Soul Tracker kept me enthralled. This second book was as good as the first, and that is not always the way. But Bill Myers is a great writer.

    "junior high school level writing"

If you appreciate good writing, don't get this book. Perhaps this series of books gets its audience from the devout Christians that are too nice to criticize the author. I tried to get through this download, but the dialog was so repetitive and the characters so cookie cutter that I could not either identify with them or loathe them. The prose is worthy of an elementary school book but without any relelvance for young children.
