Wonderful!

I loved this story. Am eager to start the next one in the series.

Loved the narrator too. She has such an "innocent" voice that suits the Amish well. :o)

It was slow starting, but perseverance pays.

It was not the best performance, but the story drew me in as I got to know the characters. I ended up hoping for them and rooting for them.

Wonderful story of faith

This book is a wonderful story of life in Christ and the trust in Him. If you like a book about the Amish but also the plan of salvation you will love this book. I truly enjoyed the story and would recommend this book to anyone. It is a love story of men women and of Gods son. The author wonderfully lays out the story of salvation and the reading is easy to listen to. Whether listening to the story or reading the printed book it is well worth the time.

Refreshing and Inspiring!

“The Parting” was a very refreshing and inspiring story about the joy of life found in knowing and having a relationship with God. I like how the setting is in a natural and simplistic surrounding were the focus is on the important things in life. I did not care for the narrator’s voice. While it fits the character, it seems shaky and unsteady at times.

NiceStory about Amish salvation…

It’s so interesting how these devout “religious” people have managed to survive for so many generations without a relationship with Jesus Christ or even to read the Bible. I found myself cheering for these fictional characters, hoping they represent real people.

How can loving Jesus have division?

This is what is happening in many families today saying a Christian & love of God !
Did. Jesus take way our sins or can you earn your way to heaven. To know Gods word & hVe a relationship with God.
Not to judge to know we all come short of what heaven requires without Jesus love & grace
How to come together in peace.
