What the Critics Say

"Robert Hardy's reading gives a real feel of salt spray, not to mention a taste of the lash." (The Times)

    "Thank you Patrick O'Brian"

Reading his books or even watching 'Master & Commander' as a worthy film still somehow doesn't bring these wonderful books truly to light as Robert hardy has managed so well to do. His ability to take you all over the ship of the line, as O'Brian wanted us to understand is quite remarkable.
