Publisher's summary

Is it foolish to risk your life to save someone else's, to pursue a healer that most call mythical through the wilds of Texas in order to save a brother? What if that so-called "myth" were told to you by your own flesh and blood...your own father?

One of the "Greatest Ever Told," as stories go

A wise depiction of true family life on an Earth which rarely comprehends it. A common setting of seemingly unfair hardship on undeserving innocents.
A set of circumstances which offer both mortal risk and opportunity for salvation.
A couple of decisions which lead to a couple of selfless quests,
A narrative depicting both paths observed and guided by an overarching benevolence and interest.
A confluence of awakening, rescue, enlightenment, redefinition, people, community and Family.
Life @ Peace.

I very much appreciated and enjoyed this timeless saga played out over the ranches, plains, canyons, hills, horses and hearts of the American Southwest in the late 19th century.
It became pleasantly remenicent of similar but far more ancient tales.
