Everyone has secrets.
Iris and Will have been married for seven years, and their marriage is as close to perfect as it can be. But on the morning Will leaves for a business trip to Florida, Iris' happy world comes to an abrupt halt. Another plane headed for Seattle has crashed into a field, killing everyone on board, and, according to the airline, Will was one of the passengers.
Grief stricken and confused, Iris is convinced it all must be a huge misunderstanding. Why did Will lie about where he was going? What is in Seattle? And what else had he lied about?
As Iris sets off on a desperate quest to find out what her husband was keeping from her, the answers she receives will shock her to her very core.

The main character in this book would have to be severely retarded to make the storyline even slightly plausible. The narrator is hideous (especially her version of a mans voice). I cannot believe I bothered with this giant bowl clogger.
This is without a doubt the most ridiculous book I've ever read. How it got so many good reviews I'll nvr understand. The narrator is awful also. Do not waste a credit. You've been warned.
Enjoying one good listen after the next!
This book didn't quite captivate me -- perhaps because it just sounded like a whiny, good-wifey person trying to figure out what her husband had done to their marriage throughout most of the story. Of course, she found out -- although the finding out was tedious and somewhat contrived it seemed to me. In the end, the whiny wife got her revenge -- but it wasn't a satisfying ending to the story at all. It just seemed that two evil, immature people found each other and made a mockery of marriage. If I could do it over, I wouldn't spend the time or money.
I don't even really know where to start. Unrealistic plot. Overly whiny and naive main character who also had no growth throughout the book. Horrible narrator who used an awful fake southern accent at time, other times she just spoke normally (for the same character). Introduced characters who implied they'd have more of a part of the book yet disappeared. Frustrating read and waste of a credit.
I'm a new reader to her work and I thoroughly enjoyed EVERY SINGLE WORD. A must have book for everyone who reads for any reason!!! Thank you for this story!!!
Literally one of the WORST narrators I've ever listened to. Poor story and terrible writing. Inadequate character development also. Choose another book.
This book was a great one! From the first word, to the last I was hanging on every turn. I couldn't finish it fast enough! I enjoyed the story, the characters, the delivery, word choice, inflection, everything! Outstanding story and outstanding performance! This work was brought to life and I felt every emotion along the way.
I totally enjoy a well written novel with a great narrator!
Kimberly Belle wrote the perfect novel....with my city Atlanta playing delicately in the background, my home City ( Ga Peach Grady Baby Born).
Iris was a luckie lady, however... life is never perfect? Kudos to narrator Johanna Parker....Five stars! Its been awhile since I carried a audio book to my car to hear every word? .....well written Ms.Bell ...well narrated Ms.Parker.
A must read!
Official Review from Author DeAnn DeVille...Narrator, Writer, Ghost Writer & Blogger.
I haven't finished the book so it may not be fair to write a review but since the narrator is ruining it, this is all I've got. It seems to have a semi-decent plot, similar to the Goldie Hawn movie from the 90's "Deceived". It is dragging and dragging and I am not interested enough in the characters to keep listening.
It's the old "picture perfect marriage gone wrong" storyline, not new and no shocking twists that I've discovered halfway through the book.
Sorry, not a winner.
Wow doesn't even begin to summarize this book!
I listened to this while I was painting my kitchen chairs and the time flew by!!
A great storyline with well believable characters but my heart was broken with the entire story. I don't want to spoil it.
When someone you love does something so bad..... do u still love them?
That's the question in this book. And I still don't have an answer for it!!
Thank you, Ms Belle for a very good "read"!!
