SO VERY SWEET!
I haven't read a N. Sparks book in years & am so very glad I did this one. I am married to a military an & so this book was extremely touching to me personally...but as a book it's wonderful & the great narration makes every character so easy to follow! I was "swept away" by it (which'll make sense to you by the end). HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Looking for more by same author now! Smile!

Pleasant and simple romantic story
This is a nice love story that is well narrated. Some of the voices used were a little odd but overall it was pretty good.

Great read
What did you love best about The Lucky One?
I loved Logan. What a great hero. This was a great romance, with real characters and it kept me wanting more all the way through

just ok
Would you ever listen to anything by Nicholas Sparks again?
Yes
Did the narration match the pace of the story?
it was odd at times
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I was amused by the the book until the last 20 minutes, then it felt like forced drama. I thought the end was stupid and more fore dramatic effect than necessary to the story.

I am sure the movie will be better than the book, sadly most of his movies are better than their book counter part

Sparks
Story is not as good as most Sparks "romance" novels because I didn't ever feel the emotion of any character. I think the reader is a bit weak. I would still recommend the novel.

Good story but....
I loved the story but this narrator just wasn't the best for a romance story. I felt like I was listening to the guy that speaks on the Disney tour ride! Like no joke I though of that dang ride the whole book!
