Publisher's summary

This is the seemingly tall tale of the outlaw so brutal that the Devil would be ashamed to mention his name, and the lawman determined to bring him to justice, whether that be the jailhouse or the graveyard.

What Great Fun!

Would you listen to The Legend of Arthur Tanner and Johnny Red again? Why?

Well for me no, but that is because I dont listen to audiobooks more than once. However if I was in the car and someone had it playing I would enjoy listening to it.

What did you like best about this story?

The performance was spot on for a western.

What about Howard Meadows’s performance did you like?

When the character had a mouth full of chew I felt like Meadows did as well. Bravo well done on the performance.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and I did. However it is less than an hour long so that makes it easy.

Any additional comments?

I could see this being a short film where the actors never speak and Meadows voice narrates the sory.

Western

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

It's a good audiobook to listen to. This is a well-crafted short western story that the genre needs a great deal more of. A few shorts of this quality would make a wonderful boxed set. I wish it was longer but I enjoyed listening.
