The man was more than Leslie could handle! She'd expected a lot of publicity for Dr. Peter Havistock - the hunk had survived a plane crash when he was a kid, spent nearly 14 years living with a stone-age tribe in the jungles of Papua, New Guinea, and returned to civilization to write a best-selling book about it. But his tour of colleges was getting wild. The Yalies almost rioted, and the photos from Brown were nearly X-rated.
Frankly, Leslie had never seen a doctor of anthropology act the way he did. And while his warrior's ceremonial G-string was authentic, she didn't see the need for him to go flaunting his perfect body on television shows across the nation. Then he announced on Harry King Live that he was a virgin! And that he was looking for a wife! And that he'd like to marry HER! Something had to give....

This is such an entertaining book! Katherine Deauxville writes such wonderful romantic comedies you can't put them down even when you're laughing out loud and can't see the page. You really get your money's worth.
This is my first audible book, and it was laugh out loud funny. I need one of those feathered cloaks for my next function. I think the reader made me feel like I was there and did a great job. I will probably pick up another K. Deauxville , audible.
I'm a big fan of Katherine Deauxville comedies. I enjoyed all her comedies on paper back years ago, and now I'm starting the collection in audio format. I was a little surprised about a male reader in this type of books. I don't really bother on listening to the samples, but this narrator did a really good job. I'm really looking for more of K. Deauxville and D. Jones audiobooks.
I loved the story, but I found the very loud music at the beginning of the chapters distratcting and annoying. It overwhelmed the words. But it was a minor issue, but i'll think hard about getting another one from this publisher.
