fun for all

Book was great for the 10 yo boy and his 45 yo mom 😊 Great production. with a solid narrator.

It is a great tale of ghosts ghosts and other ghoulish sorts.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I read the book a couple of years ago. While it was a good story, it just seemed to be missing something. The narration gives it so much more "personality", if you will. I listened to this in the car with my kids (11 & 9) on the rides to and from school and they loved it as well.

What other book might you compare The Last Apprentice to and why?

I was looking for the next Harry Potter book and came across this. It's definitely not the same, but the story is very unique and I am glad that I found it.

Which character – as performed by Christopher Evan Welch – was your favorite?

He does a great job with all the characters. Tom and the Spook were my two favorites in this book.

Extraordinary Series0

Absolutely love the series. It keeps you engaged and I was on the edge of my seat a few times. It is amazing.

Excellent

I first checked out from the library, “because I liked Dean Koontz and Stephen King”. I had no ideas what I was getting into other than it was probably going to be at least creepy. I was wrong. It’s scary, well written, superbly narrated. And the best past...it’s book one.

Favorite series!!! So we’ll done!

I started this series and was so impressed I recommended to my teenage son. My son liked it so much he recommend to my husband. We are all huge fans. We own the books and the audio books. I highly recommend this whole series. Tom ward is one of the last great honorable characters. Joseph Delaney did an outstanding job with this series. Chris Welch brought the perfect voice to all the characters and really brings them to life. Jospeh and Chris have both left a great legacy in this series that will continue to honor them. Thank you for the gift of this series. ( Rest In Peace Joseph & Chris)

Excellent Halloween Fare

I have to enter reviews on some of the books I've enjoyed from Audiobooks because I have found that browsing the reviews can really save me from a bad experience. This book was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed it. And you should know that it is actually a young adult book.

The author doesn't waste time trying to build his own fantasy world for this series. The stories take place in 'the county' on what we must presume to be our world, but there is no definite sense of any particular time in history or even place. This series is all about the characters and their interactions.

Excellent! This book was very enjoyable; I am hoping for a sequel or follow-up. The narration is smooth and enjoyable, and this book went far faster than I hoped. I was wanting more!
