They quickly form The La-La League, dedicated to helping one another, no matter how much secret videotaping, surreptitious snooping, and fiendish strategies they must resort to. In the background, the founding members of The Hot Flash Club, now the board members of Golden Moments Wellness Spa, gather for food and gossip fests. The women learn that often friends form the best families, and there are happy endings all around. These women wouldn't settle for anything less!

"A warm, engaging read." (Booklist)
"Funny stuff....Thayer's characters are nicely drawn and sympathetic." (The Boston Globe)
I read the Hot Flash Club a short while ago and decided the sequal might be a good one to listen to. That was a delightful understatement. Carrington Macduffie's charming narrative style made these well written, very human characters come to life. I enjoyed it so much I had to pop back into audible to grab book #3.
Nancy Thayer has captured the fun, frightening, frustrating adventure/drama that is "growing old"...and growing used to the idea. I enjoyed getting to know these characters so much, I may just have to start a Hot Flash Club here in Perth. Well Done Ladies!
Just as good as the first. It was great to listen to this story because I found it different from traditional books. Finally a new idea
I really enjoyed this series and am looking forward to hearing more. I felt like I was in the room with them as one of the girls. Thanks for the wonderful way this part of life is being addressed.
I was so excited when I found this book because I loved Nancy Thayer's early works. What a disappointment! This is just chick-lit for the menopausal.
If Audible does indeed let their members give their point of view at these reviews... I am hoping they post this one as well. Perhaps another member found this audiobook to be exciting to listen to, but I found it to be the opposite! I swear.... I tried my best to listen to the entire book, BUT all the words blurred into one big "hummmmmmmmm" that I took my headphones off and yelled at myself for wasting money on this one! Shame on me! I really cannot explain WHY I disliked this book, because it kept putting me in a trance and then to sleep!
