Excellent Storyline and Characters...

Would you consider the audio edition of The Hot Box to be better than the print version?

I haven't read the printed version...but I loved the narrators!

Good story but way to much sex

I over looked this book for a long time and finally decided to give it a try once i read what it was about. I loved Zane books years ago but was never excited about the ones that just seemed to be one sex story after another. I really liked this story but did she really need to make it so graphic. I found myself skipping those parts after awhile. Once you heard one you've pretty much heard them all. It really got annoying after awhile. I probably wont buy another Zane book for another few years because of this. Still good story though.

Funny/thought provoking

I enjoyed the storyline. In the beginning it dragged a bit but picked up. I learned a great deal and it opened my eyes. The sex scenes were not as bad as some of the other comments made. Some of the scenes were funny that I found myself laughing out loud. Some scenes also touched me emotionally. I appreciated Zane's commentary at the end of the story. Thank you Zane.

The sex scenes made me cringe - the narrators voice (Lydia) was too old for the youthful character - and a bit vulgar.... but if the narrator voice was more youthful it might have been easier to hear... something horribly wrong wi hearing someone who sounds like my great aunt talk like that. I was more interested in the non sexual content in this story... In fact, could have done w/o the sex entirely just b/c it wasnt interesting at all... just seemed like filler. This book is too expensive for the quality of the read.

I have always been a Zane fan, and this was my first audible book listening really brought the characters to life, looking for next Zane audible now

It most definitely kept me laugh with some shock value.

i know exactly how Lidia felt. I always felt like i didn't belong to my small town and a broken heart and betrayal was the only thing that forced me to leave.

This was an awsome book. Ending was a huge surprise. You will enjoy the charactors and the things that go on in their lives.
