I love listening to the narration of Tom Stechschulte! He makes her books come alive. I found myself both laughing and crying and really getting into her characters - and they have so much character! I love her writing and wish Mr. Stechschulte was still narrating for her. Keeps you wanting to read the end of the book first!!!!

This one made me emotional.

This series is so worth your time. Good stories and good character development. Wonderful stories. This one made me cry though. Rough. I just wish the recording was done more carefully. There were people lounging in some bits. You could tell they weren’t supposed to be there.

Fantastic Book! Dee's books are real life issues we deal with every day. She also provide a solution. She has several series that I have enjoyed!

Which character – as performed by Tom Stechschulte – was your favorite?

Cole, easily my favorite, I liked the smokey voice, thought it fit the firefighter experience.

Laughed, cried, jumped up and down!

This book tore my heart out.

I can not tell you how much I love this series. Every single one is amazing. I want to be an O'Malley. This book, has me positively balling like a baby! And the cliffhanger is next level. You won't regret reading, not only this book, but this entire series. Dee Henderson, is simply masterful, and the narrator, Tom Stechschulte, is one of my top 3. Beautiful work!!

I cried at moments in the book that were very touching and heart breaking.

Perfect mix of romance, faith, mystery and life,

a thoroughly good story with mature characters, mature faith issues and a lot of heart

The whole series is fantastic...The Negotiator, The Guardian, The Truth Seeker,
The protector, The Healer and finally The Rescuer....enjoyable, easily read and full of
love and inspiration... YOu will enjoy this series...
Hats off to Dee Henderson...wish she had more books written about this family...

Excellent story, veryreal

I debated finishing this because the details of Jennifer's illness were exactly like my sister's, but I did. I cried through the whole book. Ms. Henderson must have gone through something like this in her own life. Excellent book!
