Is it possible that there exists an ancient mystery that holds the secret of America's future? That this mystery lies behind everything from 9/11 to the collapse of the global economy? That ancient harbingers of judgment are now manifesting in America? That God is sending America a prophetic message of what is yet to come? Before its end as a nation, there appeared in ancient Israel nine specific warnings and omens of national destruction - these same Nine Harbingers are now manifesting in America with profound ramifications for America’s future and end-time prophecy.
Hidden in an ancient biblical prophecy from Isaiah, the mysteries revealed in The Harbinger are so precise that they foretell recent American events down to the exact days: the 3,000-year-old mystery that revealed the exact date of the stock market collapse of 2008… the ancient prophecy that was proclaimed from the floor of the US Senate and then came true…and more. The revelations are so specific that even the most hardened skeptic will find it hard to put down. Though it sounds like the plot of a Hollywood thriller - IT’S REAL.
The prophetic mysteries are factual but revealed through a riveting narrative the reader will find hard to put down. The Harbinger opens with the appearance of a man burdened with a message he has received from a mysterious figure called The Prophet. The Prophet has given him nine seals, each containing a message about America's future. As he tells of his encounters with the Prophet, from a skyscraper in New York City to a rural mountaintop to Capitol Hill to Ground Zero, the mystery behind each seal is revealed. As the story unfolds, each revelation becomes another piece in a larger and larger puzzle, the ramifications of which are, even now, altering the course of America and the world.

Told factually instead of the way it is currently. The exposition is inefficient at conveying information. This left me bored.
I usually am a fan of such theories, but this book let me down. It is full of circular logic and things that dont pan out even to today. Most of the harbingers are a stretch at best. Some of the arguments remind me of the 911truthers.
I only was able to get through 2.5 hours before i quit. Perhaps it got better after that but I cut my losses
All of the references in the book were real. From Biblical text and ideology to modern day financial situations, the facts bring the story home.
The explanation of how Everything revolves around the Hebrew 7 year agricultural cycle and why America is tied to it.
The explanation of the statement, "Beware of the good Natzi".
I would take the prophet out to dinner as he was so full of information. I would love to ask him a few questions!
To me, it was very special that the author read the book! Who else could add the correct inflections of his experiences as the reality of the story unfolds.

Unlike most apocalyptic tales, Jonathan Cahn's idea is pretty original. That is, however, the only plus of this book. "The Harbinger" tells the story instead of showing us the story which consequently bores the imagination of the reader.
I am currently reading "Becoming Myself" by Stasi Edlredge. So far, so good.
His narration is dry and lacks the necessary luster to bring the story to life. Cahn tries to employ the use of repitition for emphasis, only to come off sounding like a broken record.
In my honest opinion, all of the characters need to undergo some serious writing treatment. The Prophet is too much like a philosophy professor and not enough like the mystical being readers are told he is. Nouriel doesn't grow. His character is flat. Ana is a pointless character, so she is who I would cut.
I do not recommend "The Harbinger."
Loving Life, Living Free!
I have never read the written edition, but if I would have known this narrator would make the main character irritating I would have read the hard copy before listening to the digital version.
Well, the most compelling aspect is the book itself. When I went back to research the information given, I was astounded! I read the scriptures provided ( in case he was doing one if those twist the scripture hook ups) and looked up the information concerning locations and people. It is amazing how the Word of The Lord comes to life and truly puts things into perspective. Even if you are not a Christian I would recommend this book just understand what truly happened on that terrible day!
Flat, Unemotional, Disconnected. Great author, though!
To keep my eyes and hears open to the things happening around me.
Get the book, either audio or visual. I might not liked the authors voice a lot, but you may!
I am on the young side of being older, but nonetheless - wiser.
Absolutely! One of the most eye-opening books I have ever heard. I listened to it twice in three days and will do it again!!
It reads like fiction, but when you see how it pertains to today ... you will flip out! Amazing insights, amazing story.
I recommend that my friends listen to this book rather than read it because the author reading it obviously tends to put the emphasis on all the important places.
Too many to list. But did you know what the very first official act that our first president and congress did? It's in this book.
Do not put off reading this - it is important and too good to miss.
I love me some audiobooks
The book could have been half the length and still gotten its points across. There's too much unnecessary dialog.
Not at all.
All of the characters sounded the same and it was hard at times to tell which was talking.
No. I watched Jonathan Cahn interviews on several Christian television programs and his synopsis of this book was much more engrossing, and it took far less time to tell it. There was more detail in the book obviously, but it took way too long telling it.
The author should publish a CliffsNotes version. I believe the premise of The Harbinger is valid, as it pertains to the United States. However, Mr. Cahn should have, in my opinion, kept the story simple and to the point, or brought in some additional talent and penned a great mystery/thriller novel. This could have been a great Christian alternative to the Dan Brown crap.
O' My God!!
The Church. All the defiance for our leaders..
I enjoyed every character
The Church and The Tree information
Every American needs to read this book
The Content is astounding and hearing the author read it made it seem very authentic.
There is no logical explanation for the precise parallel between the events at 9-11 and those of over 2,000 years ago in ancient Israel. If a person doesn't believe in a God who can foretell the future and communicate with humans, then this content provides you with quite a challenge to explain how these events so precisely unfolded without God. If someone reads this as total fiction they will miss the main point! These current and ancient events actually occurred in precise parallel.
The most impressive scene was the rediscovery of the small 200 year old church in Manhattan which newly inaugurated President George Washington led the first Americans to dedicate the USA to God.
9-11 the cosmic message .
I understand why the author decided to put the book in narrative fictional form. But there is sense in which this book peels back the layers of reality to reveal a message no human could contrive.
Amazing way of reenacting the story that it drew me closer to the book with every chapter passed.
