Read after watching the Offer
After watching the Offer I had to get this book. I wasn't expecting to love it.
It is so well writen, the characters are well developed and the narration was spot on.
My family is tired of me gushing about the book and how much more information there is on certain characters and circumstances. They did such a great job in making the movie follow the book.
I had not seen the movie until after The Offer and I suggest watching it,the movie and reading the book!!

Brilliantly done!
This was one that no matter who walked in while I was listening, they too were immediately enthralled and instantly sucked in! We all love the movie version. The narration took the cult classic as the basic template for success and admiration and took it one step further! A phenomenal job by everyone! This will now become my adult version of a favorite bedtime story.

Great story, narration could have been better.
Classic story, though the book has a lot more tedium than the movie. My main issue is that with certain characters, Joe Mantegna’s voices invoke images of Fat Tony, his mafia character in The Simpsons. Mantegna is no Christian Rummel, that’s for sure.

Amazing book, great reader
The movies stay true to the book. The book is so great with descriptions of the characters’ thinking that you don’t get as clearly explained in the movies.
Also the movie is the story of the Godfather’s 3 sons while the book is the story of the Godfather’s 6 sons.
Such a great book with an excellent narration!

It’s the best book ever. All others come after this.
what’s not to love about a very well put story? Every minute of this book was captivating, and filled with imagination that made your lives the moment. I have nothing but respect for the author that was able to paint a very real picture to millions around the world.
