Excellent is an understatement!

I loved that it spanned generations. The characters were very endearing , and the story wove many tales. The narrator was outstanding. I found myself thinking with an Irish accent, that's how good she was. The Irish expressions were so very interesting and fun! I would catch myself thinking about the story all the time and was always glad whrn I could finally sit down and listen. This is an amazing book. Enjoy!!!

Fabulous fabulous

I loved this storyline and he author’s way of ‘weaving the fabrics together’ to create yet again another fabulous tale!

Interesting family drama

Any additional comments?

I liked this audible book very much except for the parts read with an American accent. I suggest writing down the names of the characters as you listen along to help keep track of everyone. It is a multi-generational novel with many twists and turns. Wonderful book.

It's "real" good, except...

The American accents were hard to take at first, but I got used to them. The use of the word "real" though by all of the Americans in the story was overkill. I don't know anyone who uses that word that often. Overall though a good story, & I would listen to another book by the author and narrator. As long as there were no Americans in the story.

Thought provoking.....

Beautiful story!! Last 2 chapters require lots of tissues!! The reader is great at different voices.

Loved it! Beautifully crafted, couldn't put it down

This is the first Lucinda Riley novel I have heard. Her writing style, characterizations and story are beautifully crafted. The narration is perfect too. Highly recommend this novel.

Very good

I have loved all the Lucinda Riley books that I’ve read/listened to. This one is no exception. Very interesting story and I was never bored. The only reason for the 4 stars was that the narrator and voices were not my favorite. The American dialogue in the book wasn’t very realistic either and sometimes cringy. However, I could easily look past it, because the story was so good.
