Publisher's summary

The South American Boreal: one of the last truly unexplored jungles on our planet. In its dark heart is an ancient crater basin, sealed in by a living cage, making it a time capsule for an ancient, deadly ecosystem.

Matt Kearns, Carla Nero, and a team of scientist explorers have found their way in. In the crater's sunken interior are creatures from a primordial nightmare. Dangers lurk in every treetop, under every rock or loom monstrously over them. It is a place where mankind is out of time.

Matt and Carla must find out how the terrifying parasite wreaking havoc in the United States can be controlled while staying ahead of things that defy belief and shake their understanding of evolution on our planet.

Trapped, with time running out, the team of explorers will find themselves a part of a food chain...and nowhere near the top.

Fun book !!

Fun book. Adventuresome, exciting, great narration. Takes you to a place where you wouldn't want to go but at the same time sounds exciting.

Excellent

Better in many ways then the first. I was glad they left behind the annoying jealous boyfriend stuff. Fascinating world. Some creepy scenes. I do agree with others this should be one book tho. The kindle version is.

A Mutant Jurassic Park vs. Mutant Scabies/Mites

I wasn't sure what to expect with book 2 but it certainly wasn't this. I still hate Megan's character and wish the author would just kill her off as she is useless and annoying. I like all the other characters. The book did keep my interest enough so that I finished listening to it. However, it ended with a cliffhanger. The narrator did a great job and has a very pleasant voice.

Success!

Personally I very much enjoyed part-2. It has a little touch of everything, Monster Madness Mayhem. This series would make for a awesome Syfy late night movie. Would I recommend it… put it this way, within minutes of finishing this part I bought the final act. Absolutely worth it, I’ll definitely be listening to it again one day!

The dangerous enjoyable sequel continues

Don't think you can take your seatbelt off for a second while reading part 2 of Fist Bird! Just sit back and keep your hands and arms in the ride at all times!

Minus the juvenile jealousy silliness, good stuff.

A well-told story in the Jurassic Park genre, especially the originality involving a plant.

this is not a series and should have been sold

series have beginnings...not just continuations of same story. how cheap is this of the author or publisher. storyline is fun and exciting. keeps you interested and wanting to hear. it would be great if this could be made into a short series.
