New York Times best-selling author Carl Weber and award-winning novelist Eric Pete team up to deliver the first in a much-anticipated new trilogy. The Family Business features two times the heat, two times the fun, and two times the drama as the members of an unforgettable family (not to mention their lovers and hangers-on) find their way in and out of trouble. As their many fans will attest, Weber and Pete share a talent for penning juicy fiction that their audience can’t get enough of.

I never in a million years would have guessed that this story would turn out to be about this type of family business. When I finally realized what LC was capable I just had to shake my head, and to raise his children up in this manner, well needless to say, I was shocked.
I would have to say Paris because she just didn't give a care. She was what she was and nobody could do anything about it.
Each narrator was very effective in their performance. I greatly enjoyed each one.
This was the perfect name because they did actually own a family business, it just wasn't the type of business that the average person would know about.
I love me some audio books! My taste ranges from Self Help, Motivational, Success, Fiction, Autobiography, African American, NWO, Business, Religious and more. I will be commenting from time to time and I hope my reviews are helpful!
I pictured every moment of this book! This family was click tight! Powerful and Deadly! You will live this one!
Yes, because of the performances- I loved J.C., and Orlando, and, it took a really special person to read Paris' part!
I think London... I could identify most with her character, similar experiences...
Orlando and Ruby...
Paris and Miguel...
Too many to name
Paris, I think.
I can't wait for the sequel!
Yes, I would listen to The Family Business again. The story is entertaining and engaging enough that a second listen would catch parts of the story that I missed the first time.
Any Godfather-ish book could be compare to The Family Business. The ties of family and business, gangsters, drugs are all included in the story.
It seems to have the perfect name
Yes!! It is so covenant. Everyone should try it.
The action and supense.
All of them.
When the baby got kidnapped
I would probably not recommend this book to a friend. For some reason, this book did not have the great character development that Carl Weber is known for, and the storyline did ot seem authentic.
I would listen to Carl Weber books again. I have been reading, listening to, and buying hardcover Carl Weber books for about 10 years or so. I am not sure who Eric Pete is, so I cannot say that I would.
I am not sure. Better character developments????
No, I don't think The Family Business needs a follow-up book because this book is not exciting, has some predictability.
No. Sometimes when authors collaborate on a project, it just doesn't work.
The narration of the different authors
Orlando was my favorite character because his he was the only only who really valued famliy values
I love it ... when you start listening you think it one thing and when realize its another you are reallu shocked... can't wait till the production of book two and three are done
I lkie the twist on what the business actually is
yes in many of the audio books and each time its like never hearing them... they stay on point to there character at the time
Yes, this story kept me interested from beginning to end..
It was action all the way thru not a dull moment
Waiting anxiously for the part 2
