New York Times best-selling author Carl Weber and award-winning novelist Eric Pete team up to deliver the first in a much-anticipated new trilogy. The Family Business features two times the heat, two times the fun, and two times the drama as the members of an unforgettable family (not to mention their lovers and hangers-on) find their way in and out of trouble. As their many fans will attest, Weber and Pete share a talent for penning juicy fiction that their audience can’t get enough of.

Good idea, but didn't work. Situation is interesting, but the characters are wooden, and the plot drags. Quit half way through.
First of all, I LOVED the performances, especially Ezra Knight! I love audiobooks that have different Narrators to play each Character... it keeps it interesting!
The story was very good and the role each family member played made me want to learn more about each Character. If you like the action and drama to continue in each Chapter, you will find this book very interesting... like all Carl Weber books! :-)
Overall the story had lots of twists and turns which was good. Some of the things that happened didn't really add up for me; London and Paris were a bit much for me. I couldn't believe London let her husband treat her the way he did; and I felt that there was something missing from the husbands story; what was with all the phone calls? And it didn't play well for me that Paris would go behind her father's word like she did. I thought it took away from the fathers roll.

LORD HAVE MERCY
The bitter/sweet relationship of the siblings
Ezra, Patricia & Michael made this story feel ALIVE, felt as if i was looking at tv, you can feel the excitment, sorrow or pain of the characters they're speaking.
CAMERAS, ROLL, ACTION !!
I find myself looking for books under narrators just to see what else they're reading. MY OPINION!!! Money well spent. Can't wait for the follow-up, so get to writing.
A total book geek who wishes she had the gift of writing!!
When the "true" jobs of the characters are revealed.
Of Course Paris. Wouldn't mind hearing more about Vegas, but I'm sure he will have his own story soon.
This is must have to any collection. Drama, suspense. Twists at the end. It's hard to pause the book. You'll want to finish it in one sitting.
This is the second time I am reading this series. This book is not typical but familiar. This book has twists and turns and deals with situations you wouldn't think of. This book kept me on my toes.
A storyline/text that wasn't reminiscent of a really bad daytime soap opera.
Unfortunately for them, I think the narrators were just doing their jobs.Bet they had a good laugh afterwards though!
