What if everything you think you know about someone is completely wrong?
Twenty-four-year-old Jessie thinks he has fellow street racer Kai all figured out. The tall, dark-haired Hawaiian might be gorgeous, but he's also arrogant, angry, and a total menace when he gets behind the wheel. So why does an argument with Kai lead to the hottest sex of Jessie's life?
As sex starts to give way to so much more, Jessie wants to trust Kai. But after a betrayal in his past cut Jessie to the core, that doesn't come easily. Even if Kai proves to be far more than the gruff exterior he shows the world, Jessie's sure he'll screw up any chance at a relationship and get hurt all over again. He just needs to keep his distance, which would be a lot easier if the attraction between them wasn't so strong.
This gay contemporary romance is approximately 100,000 words. Please note: contains graphic sex and is only intended for adult listeners.

I read this book on the day of it's release on my kindle. And I loved it. I like Greg Tremblay as a narrator and have enjoyed the other books in this series that have been made into audiobooks. But this time, I really feel he outshone his previous narrations. He puts so much emotion in his narrative. And it's really amazing how he managed to give all the characters their own voice, but also really nailed the various accents. And there were several different accents in this book.
I look forward to eventually having all of the Firsts and Forever series narrated by him.
A voracious reader since I was a child, I am now enjoying novels and novellas on Audible.
it is obvious the author and narrator both had fun producing this story. Bravo! Loved it!
Alexander Land Does it again with a another perfect book in the First And Forever series. Exciting, sexy, engrossing, tears, cheers, and lots of happy rainbow couples.
a little over the top in writing, some was just too fanciful but overall I loved the sappiness and hopelessly romantic relationships
Finally! Jessie’s story!
Jessie is Nana’s chauffer and is about the single most sweet person you’ll ever meet! He’s like candy! He can literally do no wrong and he deserves happiness!
Kai is a little mood and broody and hot and Hawaiian. Yum! It’s like Yin meets Yang. They both race but really this is about two young guys falling for each other and living out Nana’s antics.
It’s an almost zero angst book with tons of slapstick comedy (cock fest, Nana’s wedding, the dress shopping, the bachelor party…) and a lot of family love.
It also sets the scene for Zach and River’s stories. Zach’s is already written: Who I Used to Be and it looks GOOD!
Greg. Just perfection. Nana is friggin’ hysterical. He gives Kai’s family a subtle accent, all the Nannettes old lady voices and even Isabelle a lovely child’s voice. He’s just the master!
(This is what I listened to on November 9th- I needed some sunshine and it worked!)
For both the story and the narration 5 of 5 stars
