Having seen the movie, but not actually have read the book, I thought this would be a nice easy listen. I was right. Never boring and keeps you interested. You feel for the main character but you really can't believe that people like this exist.
Highly recommend if you have an interest in human nature and emotions, would like an insight in to the fashion world and what people endure just to be a part of it.
"The devil wears Prada"
Anyone who has worked for the boss from hell will find this scarily familiar as well as very, very very funny. Dont read it before starting a new job.
"it aint ugly betty"
wooden characters, tedious plot - it passes time with the odd smile -excellent narration, though
I loved the book, which was read perfectly by Laura Lefkow. The characters were varied and 3 dimensional and I really enjoyed hearing the plot develop. The film was good, but this was so much better. Brilliant.
"The Devil Wears Prada"
Great book & Great narration. No more to say, but 5 out of 5 says it all.
