When does being naturally sexy become your best attribute? Twenty-five-year-old honors student, River Roberts, knew her life had to change. With only forty dollars to her name, she was hungry, tired, and out of options. While seeking advice from her best friend Jade, she found something that could provide all she was looking for. Sexy, witty, charming and motivated, she met the requirements for The Dean's List, a university society that offered alumni anything they desired. It was the perfect job for her. But it came with a cost: secrets and loneliness.
After the death of his wife, enigmatic Jonathan Ferris lived in a world of acquisition and mergers, a world where he knew financial security, a world filled with desolating loneliness. That was until River Roberts. She was intelligent, beautiful, sensual, and when their lives collided, his world changed. But then there was reality: she wasn't truly his. In a world of commodities and trading, River and Jonathan must fight to preserve what their hearts desire. But will that be possible? Will their collision be temporary, or will they overcome the many obstacles in their way?

Yes! I have recommended the Kindle version to many friends and now I am happy to be able to recommend the audio book too!
This story is completely original, I loved the basis of it and the character development. There were so many great surprises that happened through out the book that I kept guessing how it would all work out.
I recommend going on to book 2 in the series, Honor Roll, for a insight on Luca Gregorio.
this story was amazing, the main character goes into a life changing, drama fill job experience that leave you begging for more. the narrator did a great job and all the characters where played well. i hope there's going to be a book two
Love books. Can get lost in them and spend hours there.

I am just girl who loves my husband, dogs, shopping online and books!
Right some the start, I loved the female lead! she was so down to earth, and someone I feel I would be friends with. Taking this trip with her in the secret world of getting paid for sex.. but not in a low class cheesey street walker way. I would of done the same thing in her shoes. Ok I’ll admit it.. who would not love to be spoiled by a man? shopping trips, spa trips, oh and the shoes and clothes! and the great food! sign me up! OK Iwell not really, but in fantasy, I am all in.
Loved this book. I was actually sad that it was ending. I knew it was coming, and I kept hoping every chapter was not going to be the last. but it finally ended. I was bummed. I wanted to hear more! This book will go in my repeat list, and I am sure Ill listen to it a dozen or so more times.
This is kind of like a modern day Pretty Women, but so much better. if you liked that movie, you will love The Deans List!
Aria Abienta’s performance was spot on and I do hope to to hear more from her.

Hello I am addicted to Audible!!! The addiction is real and I need help...more credits that is.....
I was given this book in return for my honest uniased opinion and this book rocked!! I loved every minute of it and now I want more. It is a truly great book with great narration. I am so glad I was given the chance to listen to this book come to life. Kelly Collins you have a new fan!!
Absolutely! This has by far been one of my favorite books in this genre... I loved the back and forth meeting of the minds... and bodies... between the main character, River and Jonathan - the oh-so-delectable and emotionally unavailable scholar chosen to be her "mentor". I also found River's story so engaging - coming from such a conservative background to discovering a whole new side of herself, and reveling in it.
I was so intrigued by the idea of this secret society these people created where only the most attractive, and smart people are paired with their equals in an effort to create not only intense sexual situations, but also a layer of networking. I had some sexy experiences back in my college days, but none as enticing as this...or as well-paid for that matter! :)
Her voice is like laying in freshly-washed, 1500 count, Egyptian cotton sheets... Every word, every sigh... the way she describes each detail of the story elevated the already great writing. I listened to the entire book, and was actually sad when it ended... Aria is like the sexiest, gentle guide taking you on a journey of self-discovery and lust in this book.
I did have to break it up due to the length, but every time I had to walk away, I couldn't wait to come back to it and see what happened next.
I thought it was extremely well written, and I loved the narrator. I can't wait to download other books by Aria Abienta... So excited to have discovered her. And bravo to Kelly Collins for keeping me entertained for 8+ hours with such riveting characters and an exciting story!
Books give a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything. - Plato
I had a hard time putting it down! The story was well written and very interesting.
River is going through graduate school and has no money to pay all her bills. Her best friend Jade introduces her to a new lifestyle. A lonely and secretive one.
Jonathan's wife died several years before and he thought nobody would be able to take her place. Until he met River and everything changed.
The story is told in River's POV. It wraps up with a great HEA conclusion!
The narrator did a pretty good job bringing the story to life.

I really liked this story. It had a little of everything and kept me interested the whole time. The narrator also did a wonderful job, I usually nitpick but I honestly don't have anything negative to say!
I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for more both the author and narrator.
This book was gifted to me in return for an honest review.
Jonathon, and the pain he was went through and the way he falls in love with River.
I loved how River just wanted to help the other men, and even when she was done she still helped them.
I loved the way she told the story, she was able to bring the book to life.
This book is more saucy Chick-Lit than erotic. Whilst well written and narrated it is so slow that I gave up on it after about 100 minutes, by which time there had not been a single erotic scene, only a few sexy references. Disappointing as it had a promising start!
