It was a good day!
I am not sure what I expected with this book. I knew it was told from an artistic perspective and I understand their special gifts but was very concerned when he went to Lundin by himself. I would recommend reading this book as the narrator was great!

I like it because it's unusual
I like it because it's unusual but it's also real and shows how people are flawed but that there is a way back from mistakes we make if we are willing to work on it. Seeing it all they Christopher's eyes was a unique but good experience.

Good book, but I liked the play better.
I was surprised I didn't like this more, but it was only okay for me. I guess it's because I'd already seen the excellent West End adaptation, and so I had higher expectations. The audiobook narration is very good, but there were no new surprises for me plot-wise, no themes that were more fully fleshed out in prose from. It's a great story, but if you've seen the play first there's not much new to explore by reading the book.
