"Sublime. The reading of this is a work of art."

Now I've listened to many recordings in my life; I've even made a few successful ones myself. But nothing comes close to the brilliance of Lou Diamond Philips awesome interpretation of this classic novel. The effortless way he swings between accents, the rhythm and flow, the pause and effect; it is truly one of the finest audio books on the market. Anyone interested in voice-over technique could use this as a standard 'text'. And this is a good example why Audible should only stick with trained actors to read their fiction novels.

    "good listen"

A very exciting listen full of intrigue and energy. Wonderful life lessons and words to live by told in a 'made for TV' kind of way. Very glad there is a sequel! I wanted it to go on forever!

    "Much better than the movie!!"

This was a great book! Lots of good info and gives you hope for the future. I saw the movie years ago and liked it, but the book was sooo much better. Highly recommend to anyone who is thinking of buying.

    "Skip it."

Good thing there's music, otherwise you'd have no idea when "suspenseful" moments occur. Coincidences are supposed to be the point of the story, but it's too convenient and predictable. I expected to be provoked to rethink my world view, but all I want to do is snooze. DaVinci Code this is not!
