The Celestine Prophecy comes to light at a time when the world deeply needs to hear its words. A gripping story of adventure and discovery, it is also a guide that has the power to crystallize perceptions of why one is where they are in life, and to provide a new energy and optimism to head toward a brighter tomorrow.

"A fast-paced adventure." (Publishers Weekly)
If this was shown as a sci-fi it would have been more believable. Too many looong ramblings about what makes up these 'insights' which are just out there. Lou Diamond Philips was however enjoyable to listen to, and helped me get to the end of what otherwise was just not that good.
I really don't want to finish listening to Lou Diamond Phillips which is crazy! But the subject seems to be just dragging on.
No but I would if the story is good.
I may go back and listen to more and see if it gets any better....
This book was REALLY fun to listen to! From the beginning the story grips you and takes off from there. The reader was by far the best performer I've heard since joining Audible, great voice and spectacular accents. Just listening to this story was an adventure in itself.
Thank you for putting these feelings into words. I appreciate the narration. The performance was easy to follow.
Say something about yourself!
This has to be the worst piece of mumble jumble I have ever read/heard. There are so many logical/ common sense holes in the plot. All of the "insights" are profoundly shallow and surface-scratching. The college freshman stoner me might have liked it, but then again, I'm pretty smart.
James should have written this book as a forecast instead of a novel. But those that have sight will comprehend the message contained within. Thank you James.
I find a lot of books about spirituality and enlightenment wordy and difficult to understand. This book however, by telling a fiction story made it much easier to get into while still offering tons of spiritual insight and material for self development and growth. It was very interesting and enjoyable.
My one critique would be the blatant disregard that not all families have a father and a mother and not all relationships are a man and a woman. The discussion on family structures and romantic relationships was quite black and white, traditional, and dated in this sense.
Otherwise, this is a wonderful, intriguing work sure to bring out the the spiritual being in all of us.
I enjoyed this book. I met a man that introduced me to this book. I felt ready for more growth and enlightenment and then I met this young man that shared this book with me. I have reached a new level of spiritual understanding and evolved into a higher being. It has been clear. It is true, people and things are no coincidences....
A must read!
But only if you're ready for a newer awakening.
