Wrapped up quickly. No droning on.

What about Scott Brick’s performance did you like?

John Cory delivers the killers in his usual flare

Love the style of this brilliant arrogant detective John Cory. Wouldn't be real if it wasn't for Scott Brick!

Just A Taste of John Corey

This was a great short story. I finished the John Corey novels a while back and enjoyed them immensely. This was a nice addition to the series. I would have loved for it to be a full novel. It would have been great...but even still it was a good read. I'll just have to wait for the next full length novel. I'm ready for it!!!

Detective John at his best.

Brick captures the author's intent well for this character. An excellent if predictable police procedural

Vintage John Correy!

If you could sum up The Book Case in three words, what would they be?

Great Mini Novel.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

The plot wasn't great compared to other Correy books, but the thought process of him and the sarcastic humor John Correy fans know and love was top notch.

What does Scott Brick bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Scott Brick IS John Correy. I'm not sure I'd even listen to a John Correy book read by someone else.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The way the ficticious author signed the book for John Correy at the end. Classic!

Any additional comments?

I wish it could have been a little longer, but if you're a John Correy fan - definitely get this and listen to it!

Classic DeMille, Classic John Corey

I Love Nelson DeMille books. They are usually long and filled with lots of detail that never hinders but always enhances the story.
This little story was as good as his always are, but too short. I was enjoying it so completely and wished John would just go onto another adventure - another crime. If you want to hear the genesis of John Corey this is a must. Yes it is short and uses one of your credits, but you will not be let down.
