Almost perfect

Only thing I didn't like was the idea of a dog cussing so much in his head

Absolutely fantastic!

I can't recommend this story enough! Great story, I literally couldn't put it down (or at least stop listening)!

The only negative mark would be for the horrendous and seemingly random music played between only some chapters and only in the second half of the recording. Earbud listeners beware.

I loved it

This is a heartwarming story, I loved it. Enzo is so loving, funny and kind, this story was lovely.

Beautifully well done

I sincerely enjoyed this story, and am still sitting here rolling the ending over in my mind. I loved Enzo's perspective and unfailing loyalty. I will definitely be giving my old puppies an extra cuddle tonight.

What made the experience of listening to The Art of Racing in the Rain the most enjoyable?

This book will make you laugh, cry, think & believe. You don't have to be a dog lover to enjoy this book but you maybe one by the end. I've always believed that dogs are more intuned they we think.

What other book might you compare The Art of Racing in the Rain to and why?

This book is simular to Marley & Me but more personal since it it told from the dogs perspective.

What about Christopher Evan Welch???s performance did you like?

I love the tone & cadence of his voice. He is able to make you see the scenes from the book in your mind.

I really love this book. I first read a hard copy & then decided that I wanted to purchase it so I could listen to it. There are some very sad & poignant moments in the book but if you believe, as the dog does, they truly make the story worth hearing.

Saving Milly. Reason - both books had me laughing at one stage and crying at the next.

Engaging, touching, inspiring

I have never written a book review & yet i had to stop & write this one. I must say I was completely caught off guard by the unique story, the perspective, the reader, the beauty of life manifesting through adversity & triumph, I was brought to tears & that has not happened in an audio book so far. Thank you. I could do without the music intervals but that's minor

A dog lover's tome, Great Book

Where does The Art of Racing in the Rain rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This book was a great selection for an audiobook. The narration truly gives a unique voice to the protagonist, and the emotions the story elicits, while contrived at times, convey what all of us as dog lover's have thought for years.

Which scene was your favorite?

The scene after the hot pepper at "The Twin's" house.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Wonderful

Such an awesome story full of pearls about life and the human spirit. I love Enzo the dog from whose perspective the story is told. His unique point of view and hunger to be human is hilarious. It makes me look at my dogs differently. A touching tale which I am sure to recommend to my friends and will probably read again.

Animal lovers must read.

What made the experience of listening to The Art of Racing in the Rain the most enjoyable?

The narrator is wonderful. The story is wonderful. This is a book that you will drive around the block a few times. Maybe slightly predictable but if you have a heart you will like this book!

What does Christopher Evan Welch bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He has a charismatic voice. I enjoyed his narration and believed him as Enzo's voice.
