An emotional roller coaster from start to finish.
An emotional roller coaster from start to finish. Christopher Evan Welch has the perfect voice for this story. I laughed, I cried, I got angry, and I throughly enjoyed the book from start to finish. highly recommend this book to all of my friends and family and everyone who loves dogs.

Amazingly healing after the loss of two dogs.
What made the experience of listening to The Art of Racing in the Rain the most enjoyable?
This story held me all the way from the beginning to the end - I laughed, I cried, and I was in the story with Enzo.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Art of Racing in the Rain?
The ending was amazing - I detest when a book leaves you hanging and this one did not do that. It was lovely closure and a great ending to a very well written book.
What about Christopher Evan Welch’s performance did you like?
I believed him - he became the characters - he was not just reading something, he became each one of the characters in the book.

FABULOUS!!!!!!
I would rate this book a "10" if I could. I felt like I right there with Denny and Enzo every minute. I didn't cry when it was over....but I wanted to. This is one I will listen to again and again.

And amazing story from the dogs perspective.
Story and narration were top notch! The only complaint I have is that randomly in certain chapters there is some church like music that I had to fight to ignore while trying to hear the story. It was super annoying but fortunately there was no rhyme or reason for it so it wasn’t in every chapter. This would have been a perfect performance without this lame music.

Completely caught by surprise.

Give Yourself to the Race
We don't understand or know what dogs think of us. However, I like to think that this book is the Epiphany man has been looking for. How beautiful, touching and wonderful to peer through the eyes and thoughts of our friend. This book helped me grieve the passing of several of my best friends who have since journeyed on to the Rainbow Bridge. I now have a better understanding, a finer appreciation and not only some peace in my heart but a bit of Wisdom which will take me through my own full race here.
