Fantastic book

A very good book. A great story that's well written and narrated Wasn't expecting it to be from the dog's point of view.

Nothing like I expected. This well-written, well-narrated book will make you laugh, and it will make you cry. You may even learn something about yourself. The Art of Racing in the Rain is a story for all humans, even if you aren't a dog lover. Do yourself a favor and get it today, before you see the movie!

Loved it

I really enjoyed both the story and the narration. No, I wasn't sitting on the edge of my seat, wondering what was going to happen next. It wasn't that kind of book (at least not for me). But the story itself was beautiful, and I simply enjoyed hearing it play out. I think having it told through the eyes of Enzo made the book perfect.

How has this treasure remained hidden?

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I highly recommend this as a must reading! I've never written a review before, but this is a jewel that sparkles through after one has sifted through hours of searching for something really really good. I'm normally a mystery/ thriller/crime novel avid listener, so this seemed off-course for me. Philosophy of life from a dog's point of view (and especially a dog that really covets opposable thumbs) seemed intriguing! I (personally) don't agree with reincarnation and a few of Enzo, the dog's perspectives -- but it's quite all right iand very forgivable in this instance because Enzo is a loveable pooch and it was my hope that his doggie desires would someday come true. His life is intertwined with that of his human family and their lives, and especially with that of Denny, the family's racecar driving husband and father who teaches Enzo many great life lessons. But Enzo is able
