I can't stop thinking about this this book. ------
I've never seen the movie & I probably will not as I felt the I had the most best experience hearing the book. I have pictures & voices in my mind I wouldn't want to spoil by a movie interpratation especially of the dog Enzo. I can't recommend this more highly. The Performance was outstanding.

If you love dogs, and you love racing.....
I loved this book from beginning to end! It reminds me so much of my relationship with my own dog. It will make you cry, laugh, and cheer. It's one of the best stories about dogs that I've ever read. The author is also actually a real-life racer, and he knows his racing and drivers. The prose is very good, very grown up. This is not a simple story, nor is it simply told. But it is a beautiful, heart-breaking, heart-warming story about how much we love our dogs, and how much they love us.

exceptional, one-of-a-kind story
At first I really thought this was going to be a tearful Story from beginning to end oh, I'm glad that I was wrong! This is a wonderful story presented Through The Eyes of a dog. I highly recommend.

Most beautiful audio book ever
I listened to this book over 4 years ago and can't believe that I didn't immediately write my review. I have thought about the book so many times and will listen to it again when my heart stops beating so hard from the first listening. I never would have believed that a book 'written' by a dog could be so beautiful and that the subject would captivate me so totally.
