An old broad that enjoys books of all types. Would rather read than write reviews though. I know what I like, and won't be bothered by crap.
Yes it was. It's a very short story and it was a fun listen. Perfect for Halloween.
If they love graphic gore this is for them.
The author does a marvelous job on this. Best thing about the download!
Probably not. It's fun but not my type of movie.
If you can stretch your imagination into believing that ghouls and demons are all around us, than this story is right up your alley.
The descriptive qualities of this story are the only things that stood out to me. The idea was disjointed and not well-presented. The reader was way too fast and often slurred his words together. I wouldn't recommend it.
this was an interesting short story about a gentleman who was owed money and decide to kidnap the kids of the person that owed him money. Blink and you'll miss it because it then turns into a violent bloodbath. I wish we had a few more details to make the story blend. but I have to say it did keep my attention and left me wondering.
Always open to something new, but my favorite genres are horror, sci-fi/fantasy with more of a leaning toward fantasy.
Well written, well read. Good story that had me wondering until the end when it escalated quickly with a fun, twist ending. I'd like to thank the author and Audible for making this free. I'm definitely interested in buying the author's book of stories now.
I work at the USPS Rec, keying mail. I get to listen to audio books my whole shift; which, depending on the season, is 8-16hours. Yay books!
The story was...alright. Too many unnecessary cuss words. The narrative was done too quickly, which I suppose made the story seem a little shorter. I won't listen to more by this author.
I am brutally honest. Popular, love everything they read, reviewers are scared to go neg. and risk their ranking. It's your money!!!
I am a fan of Joe Ledger, Capt. Nothing and Sandman Slim. This is an attempt at that type of humor. It was just an attempt that did not work for me. There were lots of dirty words, which does not bother me and lots of politically incorrect situations that I usually love. Ochse might have a future, but this sounded like something a freshman in high school would write.
To see how this is done well, read Jonthan Maberry, Joe R. Lansdale, Richard Kadry or Steve Vernon.
Original story. Don't mind some profantiy, but this went beyond anything that supported the story or environment. Would have enjoyed it much more but the profanity was too excessive!
I'd say you would have to be a fan of short stories of this genre.
I'm not a huge fan of the horror genre but thought I'd give a short story a try. I don't think this was a real "horror" story so I might have to give something with a little more substance a try.
I don't think so. I enjoy when the author narrates their own story, but I think he kind of rushed through it: I had to check my phone a few times to see if I accidentally increased the narration speed but I didn't. He was clear enough but it just felt like he wanted to hurry up and read it so he can get back to doing something else.
Mr Ochse made this impossible to listen to by gabbling so fast I could not keep up.
"I'll give five stars cuz its free."
the story is ok the narration is ok but i was not overly impressed.
it's free so why not give it a try.
"Tender Hearts with amazing taste"
A short story about a kidnapping, cool, interesting and fantasy story elements and a twist buttered up nicely with a warm steaming coffee of excellent audio quality read remarkable well and welcoming to those new to audio books.
Interesting listen and only 20minutes long for short journeys or free time, well worth it :) I loved it and so far listened to it twice in only owning it for a day thus far.
