Delightful

When I began looking at this selection, there was only one review posted, and it was negative. Then I looked through some kindle reviews and decided to go ahead and purchase Talk of the Town. I found it to be a light, delightfully entertaining story. Glad I ignored the negative review that called it boring. Since that reviewer said it was purchased to be a relaxing, bedtime sleep-aid, I assume the reviewer, drifting off to sleep, didn't really listen.

Enjoyable listen

This was a light, easy, well woven story. Took me a while to engage with the narrator’s Texas “accents”, ( and I’m born and raised in Texas). I will likely read more from this author and this series.

One of My Repeats

I highly recommend this book. The characters are true characters. They remind me of the places and people of my growing up years. Listen for the laughter, and the the soul stretching and the tears.
