A good listen!
What did you love best about Take Me With You?
Loved taking the summer vacation with August, a recovering alcoholic, and the two boys. This one summer makes a lasting memory, life impacting change in all three characters who began as total strangers.

A pleasant surprise.
I loved this book! For me it hit close to home. It made me wish I had an August in my life growing up. The story is heart warming and heart wrenching and very life like.
The narrator is fantastic. It was easy to differentiate between the characters.
Give this book a read you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful!
Catherine Ryan Hyde’s books are so good. Her characters embody those of reality-most of us DO have problems. She chooses ones that are really unpleasant. Yet her characters, flawed as humans are, overcome tragedies, social issues, injustices, abuse, etc., in ways that are so much like real life and are inspirational. Good narration and writing in well descriptive settings make me love each book!
