Beautiful
This book was so poignant, heart wrenchingly beautiful, and a true page turner. The narration by Jeff Cummings was more than perfect. I can't put into words how beautiful this book was

Fantastic book!
I picked up the book for the daily special not expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised by the emotions this story brought out.
It's a heart warming story of strangers meeting and forming a life long bond.
I highly recommend reading this book.

Perhaps for young adult
The story was good but I felt it to be a bit juvenile, thus in the wrong category. That's not to say I did not like the story or the characters, because I did. They were "good" people, though the two young boys were perhaps too perfect and not quite real. I've never met children who were so consistently good.
This story incorporates the principles of AA. If that is odious then don't listen. But if you know kids who are living in families with addiction, then this might be a perfect fit. I consider this to have a limited audience.

Absolutely Wonderful
This book is one of my new favorites! The journey takes you through National Parks , through the states and across the country !
The story is about new found friendships that turn into forever family! A story of hurts, sadness but also love ! I just loved this book, the characters became friends and I will miss them ! Kudos to the author ! Loved the narrator too!!!
