Publisher's Summary

As a little girl, Jane has no one. Her mother, Vivienne Margaux, the powerful head of a major New York theater company, has no time for her. She does have one friend - Michael - but no one can see him except her.

But Michael can't stay with Jane forever, and on her eighth birthday, her imaginary friend must leave her. Michael promises Jane that she'll never remember him, that he was only there to ease her into this life.

When Jane is in her 30s, working for her mother's company, she is just as alone as she was as a child. Her boyfriend hardly knows she's there and is more interested in what Vivienne can do for his career. Her mother practically treats her as a slave in the office, despite the great success of Jane's first play, "Thank Heaven".

Then she finds Michael - handsome and just the same as she remembers him, only now he's not imaginary. For once in her life, Jane is happy - and has someone who loves her back. But not even Michael knows the reason behind why they've really been reunited.

    "Sundays at Tiffany's"

Very good story. Suspenseful enough to make you not want to shut it off. Ellen Archer does the audio perfectly. I will purchase more audio books from James Patterson.

    "Ridiculous"

All I can ask is "Why?" This is supposedly for adults, but it would be insulting to some children. I suppose this could have been a good story idea for a children's book - maybe a pre-teen - but definitely not for an adult.

    "entertaining"

Once you've engaged in the story it's a lovely one. Naturally don't expect too much logic from this tale but the author did quite well in presenting a decent end.
    Narration was excellent.

    "Not your average James Patterson"

If you don't expect this to read like a James Patterson book, you may like it. Think Nicholas Sparks. It's a little hokey, but the underlying message is good. Characters were too one-sided except for the mother who did a complete flip @ the end of the book which I just didn't buy. I do find it interesting that an author can write such completely different types of books. Just be prepared for something different.

    "Good Listen!!!!"

Not like James Patterson's other books however this is a light listen which was very enjoyable. The book had enough suspense without being overbearing and left you smiling at times. Truly recommended

Where does Sundays at Tiffany's rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

One of the best. I was captivated by the characters, real people with a magical story.
