Art gallery owner Octavia Brightwell doesn't take chances - especially on handsome, charming men. But that's only part of the reason why she turned Nick down six times before - finally - agreeing to a date. Octavia's related to the woman who sparked the long-time family feud - and fears that falling hard for Nick would only ignite the flames again. Octavia knows her family's past is best kept hidden. But her secret isn't safe in Eclipse Bay - and neither is her heart.

I had not read the Eclispe Bay books for some reason they just didn't grab me as Krentz's over books had. But after I listened to this one I have since purchased the others in the series thru audio. Sitll not my favorite story line but enjoyable.
Wasn't impressed with narrator. Voices didn't match the characters main character sounded like an old lady. Old guys sounded odd
I couldn't finish this book. The story was too predictable and the I found the characters and the situation to be unbelievable. The voices of the characters were irritating, especially the child's voice. The main female character sounded like she was about 80 years old. I am usually not too picky about books and tend to see them through, but I couldn't get over the voice issues.
