    Story
"Debbie, read by Therese, Great! Others, terrible!"

Debbie Macomber's story, read by Therese Plummer was good. It wasn't their BEST work, but it was fine for a novella.
Brenda Novak's story, read by Gayle Hendrix was TERRIBLE!!! The narrator had a shrill tone with most of the characters... I came to hate the best friend and the mother. Additionally, the plot was extremely implausible.
Meryl Sawyer's story, read by Bailey Carr was almost painful. The narrator had a very immature voice. Even though the story was set in Texas, the accents vacillated between a severe texas drawl and a "Boston nasal short-A system"; but it ALWAYS had a whine to it!
Two-thirds of the book was PAINFUL to listen.
