There is a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss. It’s not an easy thing to do and Arthur Dent thinks he’s the only human who’s been able to master this nifty little trick - until he meets Fenchurch, the girl of his dreams. Fenchurch knows how the world could be made a good and happy place. Unfortunately she’s forgotten. Convinced that the secret lies within God’s Final Message to His Creation they go in search of it. And in a dramatic break with tradition - actually find it....

Love these stories, have listened to the full set now and all were well read by Martin Freeman. Initially I was sceptical as didn't think anyone could perform them as well as Stephen Fry but I was pleasantly surprised. I recommend the full series, made my journeys to work a lot more interesting.
"Hitchhikers but not as we know it"
The Hitchhikers series takes a turn as Arthur Dent returns to what seems to be Earth, despite the planet's destruction eight years prior. Across five hours he does a number of peculiar things - peculiar in that it's unlike any book in the series prior. There's very little space travel, there's romance and key series characters barely appear. That said it's lighthearted whimsy very much enhanced by Douglas Adams' knowing style and, in the case of the audiobook, Martin Freeman's equally light and enjoyable reading.
"Douglas Adams- genius"
Love Douglas Adams and Martin Freeman does it justice.
Enjoyed this immensely.
Erm. Have to write another seven words, apparently.
"So long and thanks for this book"
So Long and Thanks for All the Fish the fourth book in a series of 3 is delightfully funny and will take you on a journey across the galaxy with poor old Arthur Dent beside you. Douglas Adams returns to the scene with another fantastic edition to Hitch Hikers bringing a barrage of laughter and razor sharp wit
"Great for Adams fans"
Martin Freeman makes Arthur Dent come alive and makes him humourable. Another book in the great series about travelling all around the universe, in a stolen ship, with a crazy ex-president convict, that no other author could conjour.
"Short but sweet"
The narration was grate, I love the style and it's rely fun. It is rely short and I felt it was missing something; it felt a little incomplete. overall it's good
