I've listened to this book probably 5 or 6 times now at least and enjoy it now as much as I did the first time it's an excellent story and one of my favorite series overall

Almost 5 stars!

I would have given it 5 stars but it started slow and the narration could have used a female narrator for the female characters.

Breath taking action

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes, the detail and precision explanation of the action was riveting.

Have you listened to any of Brian Hutchison’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, this is my first.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book made me run the gamut of emotions. I cried one moment and was completely horrified the next. I did laugh out loud a few times.

Any additional comments?

If you like military or action novels, I think you will like this. If you've always dreamed of being a sniper, loner or someone with no fear it's a good book.

Really good

Loved the main character. One caution this is written with active war scenes. So if you don't want to hear about casualties you don't want this book. I love it. The action was great and there are no slow moments .It's definitely s page turner even in the characters development stage.

Wow, what a story,

With a different narrator this might have been a best seller. Definitely worth a listen just imagine a voice actor that was interested in the story.

This my first read from this author and narrator.

It will not be my last. I am not a fan of profanity but can endure it to get to the rich tapestry painted by the author's words and the quality of the narration in making those words come to life.

I will listen to the second book

Overall pretty good. I’ll probably finish the whole series. It’s hard to find good military thrillers these days.
