Publisher's summary

Dan Jenkins, sports novelist and writer for Golf Digest, continues the story of Bobby Joe Grooves in Slim and None.

The aging pro-golfer is now 44, and he just has to win a major this time around. Since the days when golfing was done with a shepherd's crook, only seven men have won a major after the age of 44. Bobby Joe figures his chances are slim and none.

Fast & Funny

As a sports fan, but not necessarily a golf fan, I found this audio book the perfect outlet; bringing laughter to my life on hot August weekend…. But I am sure this same would apply on any weekend.

OMFG. SHAME on you.

I am not a feminist, I don’t mind objectifying women, I don’t mind ditzy jokes about women, I don’t mind all sorts of old fashion, male objectification, and degrading ideas and comments on women, …..but OMFG. I swear I’ve never heard anything so …. Fill in the blank.
I had to turn it off.
And I repeat, I am not easily offended. in fact, I tend to perpetuate the primary male, and less-capable female, thoughts and actions. So this guy had to really really push it.

Life and Laughs and Lob wedges

Ribald rollicking and eminently re-readable.
Thanks Mr Jenkins and BJ for a great hysterical and historical “rounding” of Golf.

what I expected but good

Enjoyable for golf geeks. Parts made me think there was a ghost writer helping out. but it smoothed out.
