Easily the most popular book in the house. I find myself re-reading these fantastic stories over and over. Stephen King at his BEST!
A better narrator
I couldn't stand the narrator for the very first story. It sounded like he tried to use accents for some of the characters at times and not at others. I wasn't sure who he was talking about. He had a very dull storytelling voice. I didn't listen to the rest of the audiobook, which was a first for me.
Since the book was abridged, I was disappointed the names of the short stories were not cited ahead of time. I was looking for a specific title, which ended up not being on the audiotape.
The Raft will keep me from swimming for a while for sure. Mrs Todd's Shortcut are roads I wish I could find. The Monkey was liked by my Grandson "kind of". And Gramma rocked us both to sleep!ZZZZZZ!Overall the first two made it worth the money.
Wow i think I am going to take a king break for a bit. Each one of those stories sucked and had less shock value than Barney, Do not was your time or money on this quain little collection of crap.
