I couldnt enjoy any of the stories due to the narration which was stilted, too fast and no breaks between titles, chapters or sentences. It sounded like the recording had been edited to reduce downtime and speeded up. Wasted purchase for me.
Some of these stories are great and the background introduction is very interesting. I really struggled with the performance though. It felt as if the reader was in such a rush to complete the task that she barely takes breath and for me this really took away from the telling of the tales. A real shame as her intonation and interpretation is fine. I found myself hoping that volume two would have a different reader as I had already purchased it... alas not...
