Then Luke proposes! Bridal registries dance in Becky's head. Problem is, two other people are planning her wedding: Becky's overjoyed mother has been waiting forever to host a backyard wedding, with the bride resplendent in Mum's frilly old gown. While Luke's high-society mother is insisting on a glamorous, all-expenses-paid affair at the Plaza. Both weddings for the same day. And Becky can't seem to turn down either one. Can everyone's favorite shopaholic tie the knot before everything unravels?

"Chock-full of the charming antics and asides that made the first two installments hilarious best sellers." (Booklist)
"Third time's the charm." (Kirkus Reviews)
I call this a page turner even though it is not a mystery because I never wanted to turn off my MP3 player. I absolutely loved this book !!!! I loved Becky, her accent, her neighbor Danny, her job and her family. I identify with her in many ways, like day dreaming about what "might" happen instead of accepting what "will" happen. I spent alot of time thinking about how Becky could "fix things" but the way things did turn out was even better than anythin I could dream up. As funny as this may sound, I almost think of Becky as a friend now.
absolutely amazaing how all 3 books that tell the story of Becky Bloomwood never fails in their entertainment; if you have read the 1st, you will definitely enjoy the 2nd & 3rd
I LOVE the Shopaholic series! Once I get started, I can't put them down! However, I found this particular one to drag on a little too long. I still enjoyed it, but would have enjoyed it more had it been shorter.
You don't get this book for the mental stimulation or spiritual growth, but it is a fun read with a nice ending. If you like the others, you'll probably like this one, too.
I've been a fan of the Shopaholic series for about six months now. I thoroughly enjoyed both Confessions of a Shopaholic and Shopaholic Takes Manhattan, but I didn't want to wait another six months for the pocket book edition of Shopaholic Ties the Knot.
Therefore, I decided to opt for the audiobook version. The book itself is great, as good as the first 2 titles in the series. Emily Grey does a great job as a narrator and in playing the role of Becky. My only qualm is that the audiobook's publisher should have hired a man to play the male characters. Emily Grey's reading of characters like Luke is laughable at best.
Nevertheless, I recommend this audiobook for fans of the series.
Still cute. was hard to sit through the whole thing. Thought about stopping halfway through and skipping to the next book. did have some good parts though. I'll still be a Becky fan for life. :)
Made Becky stronger, and not such a lying, weak, idiot.
I read the entire series before and listened to this series the 2nd time. I didn't realize how much her female characters irritate me. Becky doesn't stand up for herself, and she lies in every single book.
I really like the shopaholic stories but Becky lacks moral character. She lies even when it's not necessary. Her dishonesty is irritating. The author must think it's cute but it's not. I keep hoping that she will grow up and learn some life lessons about truth and honesty but it hasn't happened. I don't know if I can read another one of these books.
Becky is funny and so dimwit at times, but somehow her way of thinking is still funny and entertaining.
Others from Shopaholic series.
"Good for lazy holiday"
easy going holiday listen. didn't miss too much if you fell asleep.
"Love the Shopaholic Books"
Another great book from Sophie Kingsella and brilliantly narrated by Emily Gray. Cant wait to listen to the next one.
"Love the shopaholic stories!"
Super narrator, really good books, I've read them a million times, and love to listen to then too! :) great book!
"Nothing amazing here"
I did manage to finish it even though I got so annoyed with the main character that I was at the point of stopping. The end was better than I was expecting but if I hadn't been recovering from an operation giving me lots of free time I probably wouldn't have made it through. The main frustration is that Becky doesn't seem to have matured at all from the first two books, has no character progression and doesn't really seem to know how the world works at all.
If you have enjoyed the first two then it isn't terrible, it just isn't that good.
This book was amazing! If you enjoyed the first two Shopaholic books, then you will most certainly enjoy this one. There is a touch of a bit more romance in this edition (hence the title of the novel), yet, I enjoyed every moment of it. Becky and Luke make an awesome couple and the organization and planning done for both of the weddings was hilarious! What happens at the end? I'm not going to say. Just purchase this book cause it is well worth your money!

Of course it makes me laugh a lot...
"Very Similar to the first book"
I loved the first book of Shopaholic series. This was too predictable, it felt like i was reading the 1st book again in most part of the book. There are some parts was funny but not many. it was boring
"Silly but a giggle"
I completely agree with the previous reviewer. The book did get silly at times and I did get frustrated with Becky but it also made me laugh out loud on the train and was generally a good listen. Narrated beautifully by Emily Gray
"Feel Good Book"
Number 3 of the shopaholic series and I really enjoyed this book, although it got really silly in parts it is overall a good listen and makes you feel good.
