Yes, I love this series. Feel like I know these characters personally! Beautifully written and read...
Couldn't choose a favorite character. Love them all...the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Her voices, emotions and inflection makes you feel as if you are actually there watching and listening.
I read and listened to all eight books in this series. Not since Outlander series have I been as invested in a story.
I have only listened to the audio book in this series. I enjoyed all the books thus far.
My favorite character that Christine performed was Abbie, I think that character fits her voice the best.
Struggles throughout the Civil war and the years after....
The series should definitely be listened to in order, otherwise it would be a challenge to figure out how each character plays a role in these books.
I've been waiting for this book to be narrated and the story didn't disappoint; it was worth the wait! However, the narrator had so many awkwardly placed pauses it was quite distracting. That said, I still can't wait for the next book in the series.
I love these stories, I absolutely love the historic education that we get from the story. this book gives the little know history of the Irish. I love it! Being Irish it means a lot.
