Where does Sheltering Dunes rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Top of the list! First it's Radclyffe at her very best. Second it's book 7 in the P-town tales and each book has gotten better than the one before it. I love learning more about this town and now she has crossed the P-town series with her Justice series and brought in Dillion Mitchell to P-town. How much better can you get than that! What other book might you compare Sheltering Dunes to and why?
Man that's a hard one, without comparing them to other Radclyffe books, There is a 1960's book called The Group. (Barbara Walter's I think was in the movie version along with Candice Bergmin) and that's not even close. Maybe Stoner MacTavish only in how the writer deals with mystery and people but again that's way off. I am trying to think of a book that has a people driven story with cops, a mystery yet is more about the quirky people and there love life's. No can't do it.Have you listened to any of Nicol Zanzarella’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
All 7 of them now, She is awesome. Love how she does Tory and Reese's voices. And Parkers and I love all Radclyffe's world From Carter Wayne to Dillion Mitchell and How Nicol make's them all sound different! A+Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It was Awesome! Of coarse I had read the book before but listening to it made it come alive. I was on my sit when Ally didn't get to Flynn and Marie in time after she has a bad feeling. You want her to save the day but then...Any additional comments?
It's just awesome but first start with Safe Harbor and work up to this book. By the time you get to Dunes you will be crazy with love for Tory Reese and the rest of the town,Radclafee Times Seven Gets better each time!
