In New York Times best-selling author Victoria Laurie's newest Psychic Eye Mystery, Abby Cooper senses a convicted killer is innocent, but she'll need hard evidence to save the woman before it's too late.... A ticked-off judge has tossed Abby in the slammer for contempt of court, and during her brief but unpleasant stay she learns the story of a condemned woman who is facing a far more serious sentence. Skylar Miller has been found guilty of murder and faces the death penalty. Everyone believes she's guilty, including her own family and her ex-husband - everyone, that is, except Abby, whose finely honed intuition tells her this woman doesn't belong behind bars. With the help of her husband, Dutch, and her friend, Candice, Abby launches her own investigation to clear Skylar and find the real killer. But after a final appeal is denied and Skylar's attorney scrambles for a stay of execution, time is running short - and the list of suspects keeps growing. There's no margin for error as the life of an innocent woman hangs in the balance.

I love her sense of humor, and the twist to the story lines. I enjoy the clean and healthy Romance that she portrays and her characters as well as the education that she gives us into the intuitive world.
Not much of a reader but love to listen
I love the whole series and listened to them one after the other. I can't wait for the next one.
These have humor, mystery, sadness and really keep you guessing.
I loved the scene when Abby is confronting the murder.
Abby and Dutch are such sweet people and Dutch is very sweet to Abby.
I have enjoyed Abby and her style in both written and audio versions. This story had a strong hook and satisfying end. I put the clues together more easily with this novel, but still enjoyed the performance.
I am someone who enjoys audible books very much now that they exist. As a young student (real young) I can remember a teacher telling me how books can transport people to different places & open up a whole new world. This is how listening to audible books make me feel. Now if I can just stop falling asleep while listening to them at night I would be fine. Ha ha
This series is always fun to read, but this one took one a more serious & tense plot that kept me wondering to the end what would happen. i recommend the book for people who really like going along with the investigator step by step.
I have read every book in the series and enjoy them all. This one is no different. The only thing I didn't like is that I figured out who the killer was early on and had to wait for everyone else to catch up. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
I've read all this series and even the written version made me cringe a but, I mean Humphrey Bogart imitations? I wasn't completely disappointed because I've gotten to know all the characters from the previous books and like them all, but I knew who the killer was quickly and wondered how ignorant am I to believe the FBI is supposed to be.
In reading the previous books I always thought of Abby as youngish and fun but the narrator sounded very old to me with a wobbly quality of a spinster aunt and with the corny humor she was a poor choice imho.
The narrator does a fantastic job and the wit and humor in this series is fabulous as well as the intriguing mysteries!
"another great book"
love this author, plots are well thought out and not at all predictable, keeps you guessing right up until the end
