Cedar Circle is a typical cul-de-sac with typical families. Sylvia feels useless as she faces empty-nest syndrome. Tory can’t start her writing career while raising two pre-schoolers. Cathy struggles to control her belligerent teenagers, while their schools are handing out condoms. And Brenda quietly tries to re-instill a love for Christ in her husband as she home-schools their four children. But when one of Brenda’s children becomes seriously ill, the families of Cedar Circle pull together and discover the incredible strength of accepting God’s will for them. For the families of Cedar Circle, faith in God and concern for each other is always in season. Ruth Ann Phimister’s uplifting narration captures the strength and grace of lives lived through Christ.

Terri Blackstock and Beverly LaHaye have created a winning series! The lives of these families are so real. I found it incredibly hard to put this book down. I would probably not listen to the same book again, but I didn't waste anytime getting the next book in the series. Using my credits to get the rest of the series.
Brenda! I was just like her once. I was a homeschooling mom and married to an unbeliever. Although nowadays I am more like Sylvia with an empty nest.
No. First time listening to her.
The characters and stories were realistic, the narrator's voice was pleasant and the book captured my heart in such a manner that I could hardly wait for part 2!
No; I don't usually listen to books again, though I do re-read them. I find myself not listening well a second time. If it has been more than a year since listening, I might repeat it. But I prefer print for going through a story a second, third, or more times.
No, it is too long for one sitting.
Even though the story is predictable, it is still well done. I enjoy how the story switches viewpoints as each family's storyline weaves in and out of the overall story. It helps to keep it interesting.
