Publisher's summary

Lutishia Lovely, author of A Preacher’s Passion, pens this provocative tale about a minister and his congregation caught up in a whirlwind of scandal. The young Reverend Nate Thicke has made quite the reputation for himself ,but when he falls in love and gets married, he swears to become a one-woman man. Most of his congregation forgives him for his past sins, but some aren’t quite ready to give the Reverend a second chance.

Eye Opener

This book was AWESOME! The Narrator did a Wonderful job. It was vivid and never a dull moment! I must say that I do believe it belongs in the Christian. This is Keeping it Real. Stop trying to act like Christians walk like Christ. I bet plenty of this carrying on happens all the time. To the Arthur, I love your work. I will definitely recommend you book!!!!!!!!

This book is revealing!!

This book reveals a side of church that is not generally talked about ---sexual abuse of the youth, sexual promiscuity among the pulpit and membership, using God's name for one's own gain and personal agendas, and how the concept of the pulpit is abused. I recommend this book to church-goers and non-attendees alike. I am sure that readers will both enjoy this book and yet go "tsk, tsk!" at the shame of it all. A must read!

He was definatly a "Feel-Good" Preacher!

I read the summary of this book for a long while before I finally decided to purchase it and now I am wondering...why did I take so long? Book 1 of this series is surely a page turner and the narration is magnificent. The story and plot is well-thought out. Being a Noble woman is both stressful and fulfilling but Destiny handled her business and made me proud. Can't wait to read Book 2.

Must Read

Reverend Feelgood was good from the very beginning. I like how the book came full circle and didn't leave any lingering questions.

SMH - Church Folk - They are a trip

Slow to start, but once it got moving it was a GREAT LISTEN. The covering of the flock is some straight bullish, in this sense. I do not share. It is a shame what parents do to children regarding brainwashing. The best thing is to grow up and be open to learn outside your parental grasp. Darn Church Folk.

DIDN'T LIKE - READ COMMENT BEFORE BUYING

I can't really speak on the book since I couldn't get past Chapter 3. I know this is fiction; however, I had a very difficult time listening to the mother telling her very young daughter that it was okay for the Reverend to "touch her". I've requested to return this book. Maybe the book gets better, I don't know.

Very upsetting chain of events with no satisfactor

There isn’t a satisfactory explanation for why the pastors did what they did. You don’t do what they did out of love. It was very disappointing. This story felt like the glorification of justifying of child predators, molesters, and the people who “cover” them. Very upsetting to me.
